I didn’t set out to become a developer — I simply wanted to make my tools better. Back when I worked as a corrosion technician, I started writing small utilities to improve the software we used. One spell led to another, and before long I’d wandered fully into the world of development.

Since then, I’ve travelled through many lands:

• the ancient kingdom of Borland Delphi,

• the bustling cities of .NET,

• and, of course, the ever‑evolving world of Umbraco.

I’ve helped build community spaces, contributed to open‑source projects, and spent countless hours on the Umbraco Discord and Forum helping fellow adventurers find their way.

These days, I split my time between Umbraco experiments, Raspberry Pi mischief, and maintaining the MediaWiz Forums — a lightweight, friendly forum package that began as a simple idea and grew into a full migration from Umbraco 8 → 9 → 14.

It’s a little rough around the edges, but then again… so are the best spellbooks.
